Did anyone else receive issues about the push notifications when they uploaded the latest version of the branded mobile app? I keep getting this notifcation and I’m not entirely sure how t oresolve it.

Hello,

We noticed one or more issues with a recent delivery for the following app:

  • REDACTED - APP NAME
  • Version 6.0.0
  • Build 20339

Although delivery was successful, you may want to correct the following issues in your next delivery. Once you've corrected the issues, upload a new binary to App Store Connect.

ITMS-90078: Missing Push Notification Entitlement - Your app appears to register with the Apple Push Notification service, but the app signature's entitlements do not include the 'aps-environment' entitlement. If your app uses the Apple Push Notification service, make sure your App ID is enabled for Push Notification in the Provisioning Portal, and resubmit after signing your app with a Distribution provisioning profile that includes the 'aps-environment' entitlement. Xcode does not automatically copy the aps-environment entitlement from provisioning profiles at build time. This behavior is intentional. To use this entitlement, either enable Push Notifications in the project editor's Capabilities pane, or manually add the entitlement to your entitlements file. For more information, see https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Conceptual/RemoteNotificationsPG/HandlingRemoteNotifications.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40008194-CH6-SW1.

In case anyone ever runs into this. I missed a step and forgot to set up the APN key

Here’s a link to the documentation: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020125599-Push-Notifications-Google-Analytics-for-Firebase-Google-Sign-In-Configuration#:~:text=Google%20Firebase%20project.-,Uploading%20the%20iOS%20APNs%20Key,-In%20order%20to

But that didn’t fix the problem!!!! I’m still getting this notification….

Does anyone actually pay for Branded Mobile?

If you’re thinking about it… I’m not entirely sure that it’s worth it.
