Is there a way to give users a calendar in Docebo (similar to the My Calendar widget/page) that will tell them all the upcoming events for all courses whether they are enrolled or not? We’d like our users to see what courses are available and allow them to enroll in courses if they want to.

Yes you can use the Calendar widget and set it to display ILT Sessions instead of just courses. We use the same widget twice; one with courses and the other to show upcoming events.

@SNoyes you can use the Catalogs widget and select Calendar as the Display Mode.

It will mark all days with scheduled courses from the catalogs they have access to, regardless of whether they are enrolled or not.

oops, meant Catalogue widget, not Calendar...autocorrect issue? LOL

I want to jump off of the other suggestions and add that while we use the catalog widget in the Calendar configuration with great success, we got complaints about it being too many clicks when it was in the 1/3, ½, or 2/3 configurations.  It just shows the little dots on the calendar at that point, and we agreed that it was difficult to visualize what is going on in the calendar.  We discovered that using the calendar in a full size 1/1 ratio was our best option and people are MUCH happier with it.  It actually shows a preview of the title and you’re not stuck trying to decipher the little dots to tell if multiple offerings are occurring on one day.

It also makes the different calendar views (not pictured) across the filter much easier to see if someone wants to toggle from the monthly view to the agenda view to see full descriptions of courses.

We’ve been playing with this - set up a catalog with ILTs and have a catalog widget on a branch’s dashboard. It does not seem to populate with the ILTs. Right now the dashboard is assigned to admins as we test the content (don’t have a sandbox). There are 21 ILTs in the catalog with 2-3 scheduled in January and this is what I see. Any thoughts?

@suzanneearl did you make sure the admins that are testing have access to that catalogue?

Thanks! That was it - we assumed as admins we had access. It works like a charm now :-)
