Can ILT course completion certificates be re-issued or updated automatically when a learner completes a new session?

Hi Docebo community!

We have a stakeholder who would like for learners to join a follow-up session in an ILT. They would like this session information to appear on the course completion certificate.

I understand that I can add the session information to the certificate with the tag codes. However, it appears our admins will need to manually re-issue certificates to include this updated information after a session is complete.

Can anyone suggest a way to tie the (re)issuing of certificates to session completion? Or some other way of automating this process?

Best,

Jon

Hi @Jonathan Crichton is it safe to assume you are enrolling users on the backend into a 2nd session and not archiving the first completion? If yes, the certificate is still tied to the first course completion and so can only be re-issued manually. If you achieve the enrolment between session enrolments, they would have 2 completion records and 2 separate course certificates.
