Can we admins bestow access to the Beta feature?

Thanks,

Phil

At this time it’s not possible but it’s a feature that’s being actively developed. No timelines have been set but if you follow up with your AM or CSM they might have additional information.

Just an update, they can now. 🙂 Pretty neat to be able to share the dashboards with others.

Huzzah!

Once a power user is granted access to a dashboard, how are they going to actually access it?  there’s no ‘insights’ option that i can see in the “settings wheel” view. What am I missing?

Power users will need the Insights view/create permission added to their profile(s) and have branches, course and learning plans set under resources for what they should have visibility to. Once that is completed, the power user will use the admin gear icon to navigate to the admin page. On that page they should see the link to Insights. From there they will see all the default “canned” dashboards and can create a new custom dashboard provided they have the Insights create permission.

I am having an issue giving a PowerUser access to Insights. I did what mstrom described

added view/create permissions to the profile and given access to branches, courses and learning plans. I even assigned each default dashboard within insights to the Power User. They can get to Insights and see the default dashboards, when opening one of the dashboards, it looks like data is populating but then they get an error “Your database generated an SQL exception” for each of the visuals. Any idea what we are missing or why they are getting the error? As a Superadmin everything is working as expected.

Thanks!

Hi @NatalieFunke, we ran into this issue as well. If your power user has visibility to more than 200k users it will return that error. This is an issue and current limitation with Docebo Insights. We are unable to have any of our power users use insights because of this. Super admins so not have this issue. We have been told by Docebo support they are working on a fix for this but no ETA yet...maybe by mid-year(?)

Otherwise there may be a different problem you may be experiencing, where a ticket will be needed.

Hi @mstrom, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the PowerUser will have visibility to over 200K so seems we are encountering the same issue as you. I will keep on eye on any updates regarding a fix
