I didn’t realizes PNG files could be animated just like a GIF. I just googled it and it looks like the file extension is APNG. You learn a new thing everyday😀

yup, super useful if you want transparency in your animated gif, since gif doesn’t support it. 

Did you ever figure this out? My splash screen needs help too.
