Thanks for all the great contributions to the community. We are in the process of structuring content for a week long event for staff.
Course query
What is the best way of approaching the structure of this with the following requirements?
It will run over 5 days. There will be sessions throughout each day on a range of themes that people can attend.
All sessions online
All sessions will have a presenter (so ILT)
None of it is mandatory.
Staff should be able to see the whole range (catalogue) of what is available and enrol and disenrol on individual sessions of interest
Staff should be able to pick and choose and receive confirmation in their digital calendars (we use Teams and set links to calendars already- this is in place)
Resources (“training material”) should be assigned specific to each event
I thought:
1 course
5 sessions (one for each day)
Specific events in timeslots on each day
However, this might not be the correct approach.
Catalogue query
We have a lot of content already in our LMS, and have assigned it to a catalogue.
Is it possible to have content (eg courses, sessions, events) assigned to two catalogues at the same time?
