We launched the public catalogs. But we find the filtering of categories can’t be displayed properly on the login page when users switch to another language. For example, a native Portuguese user goes to our system, they will switch the language to Portuguese. All the text will be switch to Portuguese, except for the category list. It’s required to reload the page to display the categories in Portuguese.

Is there any way to fix the problem?

Think this is normal...when we make label changes or css changes, a page refresh is necessary. Sometimes you need to log out and back in to see the changes...depends on what changes you make.

Thank you Irnlab. Do all the translations we add need to be refreshed to display? For example, the additional fields in the user’s profile or course management?

Is there any way to refresh the login page automatically when users switch to another language?

I cant say for sure...I just got in the habit of doing that as a developer/tester…

auto-refresh would have to be done on your browser so not sure off that can be done based on changes you make in the LMS...that said, a refresh should only be needed if the user is interacting with the site while yore making updates...if they are not logged in, they should see the changes the next time they login. If you need to be very clear to your audience, you might want to run a few tests so you can predict the effects of your updates; and then share with your users as needed...
