I need to change a number of my enrollment rules to exclude a new branch from the rules.  If I change the parameters of a group, is it going to re-run that group and therefore run/assign any enrollment rules to anyone possibly newly added at that point?  I feel like logically there wouldn’t be any new people in the groups from these changes, but I’m just nervous.  We only want to change them moving forward, we don’t want anything from the past changed/affected.

you can always copy the group first to the test the changes….note that when using groups to manage enrolment rules, users that no longer fit the criteria for the associated group are NOT unenrolled...The enrolment enrolment rules only work one way > forward.

When making the changes, make sure to leave your enrolment rule activated if you wan the group Changs to take effect immediately. If you deactivate the enrolment rule and then update your group, when you reactivate the enrol rule, your changes will not be reflected in the assignments…

Hope this make sense...

@lrnlab Thank you SO much.  Deactivating, changing, then reactivating was the work around I needed.  You saved me so much time!
