Hi everyone,

I am looking for a solution within Docebo to close enrollment changes to a session 24 hours before an event begins.

We currently use the automatic waitlist function for our ILT courses. The issue with last minute enrollment changes, is the skewing of our absence records. If a user is unenrolled within 24 hours that does not always give enough time for someone off the waitlist to be properly notified.

Does Docebo have a solution for closing classes or have you found something that meets this need?

you can set the registration deadline in a number fo ways to block enrolment at a specific time. It can be dynamic (x days before start of the session, or on a set date)

Good morning @Irnlab!

Thank you for the response! Will this stop people from unenrolling from a course? Will it also stop the automatic waitlist feature?

It will prevent users from enrolling (and I think seeing the session where the registration is closed) but if the waitlist is enabled, they will still be able to put themselves on it...you can disable the waitlist that automatically places them in a season if a seat is liberated though...you can leave this option off.
