Question

Course window size in Docebo

We are having an issue with the way our SCORMs are showing in Docebo.

We publish using Storyline 360 but when the content is loaded into Docebo the scroll bar at the bottom is not showing in the browser (Chrome Version 100.0.4896.88).

When we shrink the browser’s “Zoom” setting to 90% it works perfectly but unfortunately it’s not ideal for our clients. Does anyone have any suggestions, should something be changed in Docebo or more on the Storyline 360’s side?

Are you publishing the project to be scalable to the browser window?

If so, you may want to publish the project at a fixed size or vice-versa.

I’m not sure if Articulate can do that but I have seen similar behavior from Captivate projects that are published as scalable.

I’ve learned to be selective about which projects I publish fixed vs scalable.

Another option may be to “pad” your project on the bottom by an appropriate amount of blank space so that it becomes the area cut off without digging into the actual content.

Hey Greg

Thanks for the reply. We don’t have much control over the publish window size unfortunately (unless we modify the manifest file). This does feel like an authoring tool issue and we are in contact with Articulate as well. I compared different browsers and they all behave slightly differently as well:

Chrome

Firefox

Edge

Ironically Edge looks the best.
