Enroll user via CSV on a ILT Session

Good Afternoon,

 

When uploading a group of users to a ILT Session my back ground job keeps automatically going to Discontinued

The data im using is username, level, session id

I have previously been successful with using this but for some reason its stopped working.

 

any help would be great :D

can you show us an example of what data you are entering? For example, I attached my template that works for me. Now in conjunction with this CSV don't forget that you also need to configure the Advanced settings on the Import CSV screen and that you match your LMS fields with the columns on your CSV.

thanks for your reply, yeah pretty much same data your using but a session ID instead of Code and i have been configuring the csv settings by matching the fields. I had this working but i find its very hit and miss on weather the upload actually works

That looks good and if you are matching the column names to the Docebo fields like you say you are it should work. I have only had it fail a couple of times on me, but it was always due to a self-inflicted error.

Did it ever run with your data or did it just continue to Fail with a “Discontinue”? was there a file to download on the discontinue like you see on a completed?? If there was you can look at the file and sometimes it points out why the row item failed and that could help you diagnose.  

If it's still failing maybe try incrementally attempting, it. Say do just one person first to see if it works, then if successful then try 5 10,20 etc.

Morning John,

 

Nope continued to say discontinue after about 15 seconds no file to download. Very very odd. as i say ive tried to used CSV Enrollments a few times they have been some what sucessfull then other times doesnt work. I thought it was me not clearing the fields down and having back ground data but even starting a new sheet etc still same issue.

Do you have a sandbox environment you could test on or maybe create a test course in your production environment and see if you can load that same sheet to it. In any case, I think I would open a ticket with the Help Desk. let them see if they can replicate the issue, and if they can maybe they can tell why it continues to error out.

i dont have a sandbox at the moment, im totaly new to this platform so ill have a look on how to create a ticket :)
