Failed Test Prompts New Assignment

I am attempting to create a course that allows learners two attempts at a test in docebo. If they pass either attempt, they complete the course. If they do not, I want them to have to review an internal policy (url) before getting to test again. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I have attempted to utilize articulate storyline which helps accomplish this but then I can’t seem to get docebo to limit the testing attempts to two for an outside scorm course. It allows me to only allow the learner one view of the test but that’s decieving because what if they view it but don’t actually get to attempt the test before they are pulled away and then can’t get back into it.

Suggestions for either option are appreciated!

First thing to note is that Docebo cannot track a failed status for a course so you will need to work within the confines of the test. Here are some options:

To get the user to review the “policy url” when they fail, you could add that link to the test Feedback options for anyone who scores under “x”.

You can then set a delay before the user can attempt the test again. IN order to use this option, you will need to set the “Max number of attempts” to some thing other than “0” - you can leave this option out of the mix of you dont need to lock down the total number of attempts.

This will limit the total test attempts beyond what you allow in the test attempt settings and get the waiting period to work as designed.

Give it a try to see if this works for your use case.
