Is there a way to control what weight the results are in global search?
From what I understand, no, not directly.
In this knowledgebase article - https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020127199-Using-the-platform-s-global-search, it talks about the boosting certain attributes have for search results.
So, by leveraging tags, you can sort of control the results by not by changing their ‘Boost’, by strategically using tags perhaps. Good luck!

The following table lists the items and their relative boost number used by Docebo to add more relevance to the relative searchable field in the Elasticsearch base algorithm:
Searchable field | Boost |
---|---|
Tags | 5 |
Skills | 5 |
Content title | 1.5 |
Course ID | 1 |
Short description | 1 |
Description | 1 |
Course additional fields | 1 |
Transcript (words that may be included within an informal or formal content) | 1 |
