Hi, could we discuss best practices for handling users whose name changes? For example, Pat Adams changes their name to Pat Semprini.

We still want to search on their former name of Adams.

I’ve tried doing this with an additional user field, but Docebo doesn’t seem to search user AFs.

We don’t want to retrain the former name in the first name or last name fields.

Only thing I can think of around it is not great, basically concatenate the names Pat Semprini (Adams)

Otherwise, if the person is having their name changed, people have to start using the new name?

I know some folk who get around it because their email does not get updated and includes their full last name and that comes through in search.

@billso Just wanted to comment that Learn DOES search AFs, however, you have to configure the columns to display the field first, and then use a filter to make the search.

Nice catch @KMallette !
