This morning we had a pop-up in our Docebo instance inviting us to preview Harmony Search.

I’ve put in a ticket to find out if all SuperAdmins saw this pop-up, or any other users. We cannot turn on AI features without asking for a review from our IT Security team. Due to the distributed nature of our companies and our L&D teams, we have numerous SuperAdmins in our system across multiple extended enterprise portals. While I’m pretty confident that my team knows the rules (and I sent out a reminder to everyone this morning), a prompt like this one may cause someone to circumvent our process.

I reached out to my SCM to ask: Can we ensure that advertisements like this will NOT be turned on for our Docebo instance in the future? Has anyone had a similar issue?

We had the same experience where the prompt to enable Harmony showed to super admins without us having opted in. And we have similar restrictions for not accessing AI functionality without it going through rigorous reviews and approvals.

I’ve been told that this was only seen by SuperAdmins. But that’s about 30 people in my organization, so it’s still not a great mode of spreading information/possibilities. I’ve told my CSM about the issue this causes for us.

I agree. There should be an opt-in option for these types of promotions on the system. The same happened recently with the Creator tool.

We too had a similar situation. All Super Admins could see the Harmony Search prompt upon logging in to the LMS. But luckily, we have very less Super Admins and more Power Users configured on LMS, allowing us to have the control within limited hands.  And I agree, Docebo should use other ways to promote their products.

I saw the pop up and now I continue to see the pop-up every single time I go to a new window, and it is right over the admin menu area, which means I have to close it 20 times a day.  Docebo, is there a way to maybe have the pop up show up when I login and then let it go, it is really frustrating as a user when you do extra clicks to get things out of your way to perform a task.

Thanks

I’d add that it’s a big enough problem for us that I’ve hidden it via CSS. Which obviously isn’t a long-term solution, as that pop-over could eventually contain different information that might be useful/relevant to us.

I didn’t mind it the first time but it is disabled in my AI settings so I would appreciate not continuing to see it several times a day.

At this point it becomes harassment.

Hello!

I am facing the same we have tried some CSS fixes but we continue to see the message, does anyone have found a way to hide the message? We have disabled the feature but the pop up message continues to appear.

I’ve just hidden the entire popover window - but that does mean the hiding isn’t specific to this message (it would hide any element with the same css class in the future):

/* Hide Harmony Seach Pop-up */
.gs-try-now-popover-big {
display: none!important;
}

Hope that helps!

Unfortunately it didn´t work, I hope Docebo fixes this in the back end, because we don´t have in the plan to release this feature soon.

Our team also finds this pop-up incredibly frustrating. We’re impersonating accounts constantly and since it clears the cookies when you do that, this thing is ALWAYS popping up. Hoping this gets updated so it can be turned OFF. It’s a similar experience when you activate the ‘skills’ feature. Sure, we want it on, but I don’t want it to pop up the message every time users login. They don’t HAVE to use skills. It’s an option. These types of experiences need to be more thoughtful.

What about this:

.lmn-shadow-xs.gs-try-now-popover-big.ng-star-inserted {
display: none !important;
}

Just tested it and it seems to work

Same for us. Where is the switch-off option?
