Has anyone figured out how to blank out the Direct Manager field for a user via CSV?  I have a subset of users that previously had a Direct Manager assigned on their profile but they no longer need one assigned.  I have tried leaving that field blank on the CSV file, but it did not update the field - it just ignores the blank fields and leaves the Direct Manager in place.

We created a profile called, “No Manager” and updated users with CSV using that profile. + as a matter of record, we also added the previous manager’s name to a custom field (for easy reference post change).

I like @lrnlab ‘s suggestion since you would be able to also see/pull a list of all the people who “report” to “No Manager” to validate your knowledge in the future.

Hi, were you able to figure this out? Id like to update a manager field to blank via CSV as well. I do not want to create a separate “no manager” profile. I just want that field to be blank for certain individuals.
