HI @haziehalim essentially all surveys are created with ‘local tracking’ if they are built within a course. If you build your survey via the Central Repository, you can choose the tracking options; either local or shared. The local tracking allows you to use the same survey across many courses to get results for that course only, while the shared tracking assumes that when a user completed the survey once, they remain done for that object wherever it appears in other courses

@haziehalim I was poking around our existing surveys that have been built within the central repository, and there is no indicator of whether or not they are shared (that I could see). You might have to put in a test response to see if the survey appears completed in other courses.
Agree with @Annarose.Peterson you only see this when you are creating the survey...perhaps you can store them in different categories if you have a lot, or perhaps add a small notation in the title; something like, LT (local Tracking) / ST (shared tracking)
Thank you so much @Annarose.Peterson and @lrnlab for the findings. Very helpful. Will share this with my team and client on this workaround for their survey in CLOR.
