Hi everyone, I would really appreciate advice on a specific survey flow in Docebo.
In our main course, the end of the course is built as two separate HTML pages, one after the other:
-
HTML page #1
A page with a button that links to a questionnaire (built as a survey).
This questionnaire must be in a separate course, because a notification is triggered when it is completed, and it must not affect the main course completion rate. -
HTML page #2
A similar HTML page with a button that links to the final satisfaction survey, which already exists today.
The problem:
When users reach HTML page #1 and click the button, the questionnaire opens in a new tab. At that point, users leave the main course and often do not return, so they never reach HTML page #2 (the satisfaction survey) and do not complete the course.
We tried using an End Object Marker, but this only updates the course status to “completed”. The completion percentage is still calculated as incomplete (75% instead of 100%), so this is not a viable solution.
What we need:
After users submit the questionnaire, they should be sent back to the main course, so they can continue to HTML page #2 and still reach 100% course completion.
Questions:
-
Can a survey redirect users to a specific page or course after submission?
-
If not, can the survey completion message be customized to include a link back to the main course?
Both items are surveys only, not tests or assessments.
If anyone has dealt with a similar setup or has a recommended workaround, I would really appreciate your input.
Thanks!
Shiran
