If I have 1 ILT course that has 2 sessions - will learners receive 2 certificates when the complete both sessions? Or will the certificate just update to reflect the most recent session they attended?

Not quite, the certificates are not updated with a new date unless you archive the first completion and re-enroll them into a new session. If you (as an admin) enroll them in more than 1 session, the first completion is what will appear on the certificate; not the second. Note that users cannot enrol in more than 2 session at a time. They must be marked as completed, have their first session attendance archived, be re-enrolled into a new session and then marked as completed. This flow will grant them 2 separate certificates for 2 different dates. Hop that make sense.

So if they are connected to the sessions, when a user completes session 1, they will get a certificate and then when they complete session 2 they will get the certificate again?
