Hello Wise Community,

Our live workshops are not marking complete and I can’t figure out why. I followed the instructions in any Docebo documentation, and am curious if y’all can help me figure out the issue. We have the Zoom integration.

These are our settings:

Course: At least one completed session

Session: Attendance based all events (we only have 1 event in the session)

Event: Mark the event as attended if the user spends at least 85% of the total time of the webinar in the webinar tool.

In the images attached you can see an example of a workshop with 74 enrollments and 0 completions. I attended that workshop, and there were quite a few people there.

Thank you for any insights you have!

My guess is your attendance threshold of 85% is too high…

Keep in mind that this value is calculated by dividing the total session time (from the moment it is launched by the instructor to the moment it is closed; which may be more than the actual session time in the LMS) by the actual the user was logged into the session.

Example of a typical 60 minute session:

If the instructor opens the session 15 min early and closes it 15 minutes after it completed, the total session time is 90 min. so if your user was in the session for the full hour, their attendance rate would only 66%.

Try a lower threshold to see if that works.

Thank you @lrnlab! We will try that!
