Is it possible to retroactively see all Notifications sent from Docebo in last 'n' weeks?

Hi folks.

I have some issues with the reliability of sending out notifications but it’s difficult to test b/c i have to wait for feedback from my Power Users, which comes from their users, who may or may not communicate notifications they are or are not getting.

Is there any way to retroactively view all the notifications sent out from Docebo in the last week, month, 3 months, whatever? I was hoping there’d be something like this in the Audit Trail but I don’t see such a thing. I’m guessing then it’s not possible but if anyone could prove me wrong I’d appreciate it.

Regards,
Nate

@NateC when you look at the Ideas section of this portal, the notifications log is the third top-voted enhancement request on the list… you can cast your vote here:

https://community.docebo.com/ideas/notification-log-1134

However, as the idea is already 6-years old, I don’t expect anything soon.

So, in the meantime, in the Advanced Settings → Advanced Options, you can add an email address that will be receiving a CC of all outgoing notifications. Point this to a functional mailbox and you will have your own log of all notification emails.

@alekwo Do you know if this will work for the newsletter as well as notifications? It says it will work for all emails sent by the system, so I assume it should.

Every time you see an item on the Ideas section of this community, it makes one wonder if they represent all the ways @Docebo has cut corners. Then, if anyone get’s frustrated that features are missing, they and blame users for not upvoting enough. Hopefully there are some changes made in the near future to take a hold of the ownership of the product and perform the proactive development that not only keeps Docebo relevant, but hopefully innovative. There are a lot of positive aspects of the platform, but there are enough glaringly outdated technologies, and just flat out missing features (topic of this post) that makes me question its future viability.

I use the email address to monitor notifications live in an outlook window. Has been super handy noticing trends in notifications sent out and during testing. Pain to have to do it this way, but it does work well.

Just a quick note - monitoring an email via a CC is what we do as well - but you may want to ensure that the email address is not going to have issues with getting slammed with hundreds and slowly into the thousands of emails. We started to notice some hard limits began to hit us - and we lost insights into individual emails when we hit the upper limit of emails sent to a single account in a day..

Please note that your IT security settings may make this type of CC impossible. For example, when I tried to CC myself for all notifications, I went over the maximum number of emails allowed to be sent to an address in an hour, causing the notifications to fail on my company’s side.
