Is there a delay when updating course contents?

I’ve been experimenting with version control and makign updates to existing courses in the Sandbox.

 

Is there a delay in the changes taking effect, and if so, does anyone know how long it is?

 

I’ve overwritten an xAPI module and it’s not showing the changes I’ve made either in the material preview or the course content when I log in as a user. 

The support team have said it’s a known issue with the preview funciton, but I’d expect the learners to see the new content immediately.

Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately I can’t help in telling you how long it takes to update.

But I can confirm there is a delay between updating the content and viewing the updated content.

It’s quite infuriating to be honest because it happens often enough for me to think something hasn’t updated properly and I land up redoing it numerous times, or troubleshooting my files.
