Learning Evaluation Confidential Data setting... really not confidential

Hi community,

We just started using the Learning Evaluation process and like the idea. However, a big concern we have is the “Confidential Data” properties when assigning a questionnaire to a course.

The Confidential radio button says “Nobody will be able to see which respondent has provided a particulate answer”. While this is true that the names are not displayed with the answer, you can still go to the Respondent List and see who has replied. A “simple” use case would be that you have 5 students in the course and only 1 person responds. That person is the only person who is shown to respond… Their answers are not confidential.

This use case is likely not going to be common, but it raised some concerns with our data privacy teams flagging it as not really confidential. Maybe I’ve set it up wrong, but I’m curious how others have handled this.

Regards,

Tim
