Hello,

I’m creating pages specifically for different content interests for my learners. I have a series of catalogs on the pages and I’d like to populate them with the Linkedin content we recommend on those subjects. Unfortunately, even though I can enroll myself in the LinkedIn courses inside Docebo, I don’t seem to have the admin capability to add them to the channel. I’ve tried both from the learner side (manage button) and by searching in the course catalog (course not found).

Is there a permission I need to turn on? Am I missing a step? I appreciate your advice.

Emily

HI @EmilyW_Tacoma as far as I know once the courses are imported, they behave the same as any other course. Have you made sure the courses are in catalogs the users (and you can access)? They will only appear in channels if you are already enrolled or if they are visible via a catalog.

That’s what I thought too, but it literally doesn’t give me any ability to assign it from within the course and the admin course catalog says it’s not available.

And via the admin side, you should be able to see all courses there. Did you try that?

Yes, that second picture from above was searching the courses section. Here it is searching for the course in the adding content to channels page.

hmm, and these courses are all published and in catalogues visible to you?

I think so? Since I’m enrolled in the course, I can see it when I search at the top of the docebo screen. It’s still not in course management, so I’m not entirely sure.

I asked a non-admin Docebo user to search for it, and she doesn’t see the course, so it must be limited in some respect as to who can see it. (screenshot of her search results)

something you can check...when I used this last, I noticed that the integration created its own catalog however that catalog could not be assigned visibility rules. Perhaps try adding those courses you imported into a catalog you know you have access to. Did you also check the settings under Advanced Settings » and make sure this is checked
