Hi Brains Trust,

I have a recurring issue with some users when completing a course click on the Retake this lesson widget which I have changed to state Click “Renew Certification” at the top corner.

What I have now realised is I need the widget Retake this lesson to state Click “Renew Certification” at the top corner for courses identified as Certification only

AND

for all other courses to say Retake the lesson if they want to review the content.

 

Question:  How do I allocate the specific language for the certification courses identified as modules (see image) in the Localization Tool.

If the label is shared you are out of luck. Localization cannot be applied to certain versions of the same entities. You might need to get creative. Also note that when you have your Cert & Retrain app configured with a course, and you allow the user to retake the same course for rental, the text for that option already states “review certification” by default; just in a different spot.

The “retake this course” still appears just below

Please make sure to test your label changes extensively and I recommend keeping a log of all changes in case you ever need to revert or update a label in the future.
