Yes, your usernames can be whatever you want them to be. If you started with email and now want to change to phone numbers, you can make that change using the CSV import for users. there is an option to have both he old surname and new surname in the same file thereby allowing to make that change en masse.

Just to clarify what @lrnlab says above, the last sentence should read “there is an option to have both the old username and new username in the same file thereby allowing to make that change en masse.”

When you create your CSV file, you’ll want to have one column called “Old Username” and one called “New Username.”  Old would be whatever you’re currently using (which you can export from Docebo so you are starting with correct information) and New would be the mobile numbers. When you go to import the CSV file, you’ll map the Old Username field to the one in Docebo called Username and the New Username field to the one in Docebo called New Username.

NOTE: Make sure that you’re being very clear about what formatting is acceptable for your mobile number (no characters or spaces, do you need a country code, for example). Communicate that to your users so everyone is using the same way to enter their mobile numbers.

You’ll want to review all of the details here: https://help.docebo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020128839-Importing-and-managing-users-via-CSV-files
