I’m creating a few quizzes that have maximum attempts. I did a test and there is a message that is included on the fail page, that says I can retake the test in 10 hours. How can this verbiage and automatic process be disabled? We need our users to email us for a manual reset.

If you do not want users to be able to retake a test without any intervention from an Admin, then I’d suggest setting the max attempts to 1 and just include the message about being able to retake it up to X number of times by contacting whomever in either the test description field or in the feedback options for the failing score range.  If you set max attempts higher than 1, it will allow them to retake the test without having to contact anyone.

Within Test Options > Set Attempt Options, enter 1 for the max attempts and leave all the options below it unchecked.
