Dear fellow members of this Community,

I was asked to show a message to each users  after a course has been completed .

I can configure notifications via email and appearing in the notification panel when a lerarner completes a course, but I didn’t find any way to show something as soon a course is completed.

I also made a search in the previous discussion, but didn’t find anything useful.

Has anyone of you dealt with such a request? How did you manage it?

Thanks in advance for your reply

Best regards

Stefano

Hi Stefano! This may be too simplistic for what you’ve been asked to provide… we sometimes have a final html learning object which is a “congrats you’ve completed the course” page. It gives them a completion message and points to additional learner areas or outside organisations of expertise if they wish to keep their knowledge up to date.

Sometimes when we’ve a course with a completion certificate we use this last html learning object to explain how to download the certificate.

As I mentioned, it may be too simplistic for your needs :)

Hi Ange

thanks for replying and for the hint.

Following your suggetion, one can configure the HTML page as the last object to be viewed and after that the course is flagged as completed.

So the learner can view some more information on other material he can view.

Need to do some experiment…

Thank you!

Stefano

have you looked at the course completion behaviour with the new course player? It is a little more overt than the current page.
