We have a need to assign to a specific Branch everybody that creates an account using the Self-Registration page. Currently, we have the Branch Code input enabled and every single user adds the same value over and over.
Is there a way to fix the value or any other configuration to ensure that all users are part of the branch?
I thought about creating groups instead but that is not currently an option due to legacy configuration/data.

+2Hmmm. I thought the whole point of having a Branch Code in Self-Registration was to assign the branch. What is the point of the branch code or selecting the branch via dropdown if it’s not actually tied to anything?
We found a workaround for this by having this setting on in the advanced settings:
Ask for a branch name chosen by the user from a list in a dropdown menu
Then, we defaulted to the chosen branch via css and hid the option to choose a branch.
