EDIT:  I found the answers I needed in Docebo Help - Notifications in different languages – Docebo Help & Support

I would like to create a bank of User Created by Admin notifications that will be sent to the new users in their preferred language, but I’m stuck on how to configure this in the Notifications area.

Has anyone else managed to implement this successfully and, if so, can you please let me know how?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

If you use the Translate Fields toggle in the message does it not send based on the user’s primary selected language or is the issue that because they are new users they haven’t selected a language yet?

We set the preferred language when creating the user.

Perhaps I should have worded my question differently: How do I link a translation of notification to the preferred language?

You shouldn’t have to do anything.  If you have the a notification set-up and it shows multiple languages in the dropdown for Translated Fields the system will send the notification in whichever language is set as primary on the User profile.

It will do that, but not a direct translation of our custom welcome email.  I have found how to do what we need now, though.  Thank you 😊
