Hi there,

When we are creating notifications only manually created notifications are showing with a play button beside it, however, anything set at “at the time of event” is not appearing with this play button to activate the notification.

Only some notifications have that option. It’s not  anything you can add or use if the option is not present when creating the notification. Usually only for the digest emails.


@Lulu23 you only need the “play” button for manual notifications to trigger them, otherwise, they won’t be sent at all. 

Other notifications are triggered automatically according to your settings - “at the time of the event” will be sent out immediately when the event happens (e.g. user enrolls in a course). 

To activate/deactivate automatic notifications, use the “checkmark” icon.
