We received many questions during the live event. Here are the ones that pertain to this release that we weren’t able to answer live:
Q. Can the sender for Password Reset email now be set to different domains?
- No. The email sender for lost passwords is set globally in the advanced settings section of the platform.
Q. What does a 'not validated' result look like, do we get any pointers as to what failed?
- It means that the global DNS service doesn't match or doesn't confirm the data you entered, so if you have updated your DNS data a few minutes ago, we recommend you wait up to 12 hours for propagation, otherwise there is some data that doesn't match and you need to check, either in your domain configuration or on your DNS service
Q. Where do we configure the look/feel?
- Check out our Knowledge Base article for more detailed information on Configuring the Branding, Look & Feel of your Platform.
Q. Is there a way to consolidate everything relating to multiple domains into one area?
- No, you need to setup the secondary domains in the Domains Management, then you associate the secondary domains to the Extended Enterprise domain in the Extended Enterprise section.
Q. Do you still need an individual certificate for „foreign domains“ or can those also be managed with Let’s Encrypt?
- It can be managed automatically with letsencrypt
Q. When is Domain management being rolled out?
- Thursday, December 7, 2023. You can reference more detailed information in this Knowledge Base article, Domain-Management.
Q. Is there a way to request a live course/webinar that explores different ways to best leverage Notification Events and Conditions?
- Currently there is no way to “request” training however we have received feedback regarding this functionality and are evaluating
Q. Will you still be making updates to the course learning plan player between now and June?
- This Product Update post outlines the rationale behind the decision to push out the date for the adoption of the new course and learning plan player and we are still accepting your valuable feedback.
Q. Are there any changes that any of the CSS classes connected to the course/LP player will change?
- We are currently compiling the questions we received on the new course and learning plan player, which includes this one as well as others from this post. As soon as we have the answers, we’ll reply in the post. Thanks for your patience!
