QR codes for external ILT provider

Hey there Brains Trust,

We have external providers deliver ILT and want to set up QR codes for user attendance but the instructors are not users in our system.

Any advice on how to manage this? We have an Outlook Connect recipe already established for users.

I can’t recall quite how I figured this out back in May, but I was able to recreate these QR codes using the course, session and event IDs.

First, construct the destination URL:

golearn://course/{course_id}/session/{session_id}/event/{event_id}/attendance

Then, URL-encode it:

golearn%3A%2F%2Fcourse%2F{course_id}%2Fsession%2F{session_id}%2Fevent%2F{event_id}%2Fattendance

Then, prefix that with https://quickchart.io/qr?text=

and, optionally, add a size parameter at the end &size=640.

The resulting QuickChart URL returns a PNG file that, as far as I can tell, is identical to the one you get in Docebo.
