Renrollment on courses

Hi everyone!

We have a set of courses that everyone gets auto enrolled onto as part of our “Essential Skills”.  Recently, I’m noticing people who should have already been enrolled onto the course showing as being enrolled on the course more recently.

For example: one course has an existing colleague (who should already be in the system) was enrolled onto the course yesterday.  I’ve seen this a few times recently on a number of courses.  I have never noticed this before as usually the most recent enrolments on the course are the people who’ve joined the organisation.

The only thing I can possibly think of is that the person has clicked “renew now” and it’s literally reenrolled them into the course, but that never used to happen.  Is this how it is now, or is there something else I should be concerned about?

Thanks for your help

Keep safe

Paul

I am assuming your courses are part of a certification? If yes, for those you say were ‘reenrolled” did you check to see if they have an archived enrolment? That would confirm they are using the renew option

Hi Irnlab,

Thanks for this - I’ve just checked and it looks like when people click on renew they are re-enrolled, which I don’t ever remember it happening that way; usually it just updated their recertification.

At least it’s not doing anything naughty!

Thanks for your help.
