Hi all -

I’m cautiously optimistic that I’m overlooking something here, and hoping someone can help.

We’ve got a course that contains a SCORM file, and in the SCORM file, the learner answers a few questions using pre-defined options. I’ve noticed that I can see these responses at the user level in the “Reports” tab of the course, in Course Management. See the GIF below for an illustration…

My question: Is it possible to extract and export this data at the course level?

For instance, I want to see how all 1,659 users who completed the course answered that question, without clicking into each user individually.

Crossing my fingers...🤞🏻

@KMallette Thanks for that info. I should have clarified my question. Do you know if it’s possible to extract a single report that shows how each user answered the questions?

I’m looking to see specifically which users selection OPTION A, which selected OPTION B, etc.

@shanejacques - one doesnt exist. Sorry.

If you have a moment and can say hi - I can show you an intriguing option that offers that gradebook type of insight. A tool that we use for authoring leverages their own LRS to hold onto that level of detail.

DM me - happy to do the show and tell.

@shanejacques You’re nearly there. Under the training materials tab, select the link for the name of the material and then click the “Answer Breakdown button” and then Export.

@shanejacques The Answers Breakdown button is the only UI option available. You could check the api-browser, but I haven’t looked there recently.

The API browser does not have this information as far as I can find. Please let me know if anyone else finds anything there. Users - Training Material can give some insight SOMETIMES, but it doesn’t show the question/answer breakdown like you are looking for.

The only other place in which I have been able to get user test answers at a course level is in the Insights Dashboard. Docebo came out with a Test dashboard which contains test questions. However, I am unsure if these need to be Docebo Tests or if SCORM tests work with these. In addition, I am pretty sure Insights is a paid add-on, so if you don’t already have it, you may be a little out of luck :(.

@hailey.gebhart Sadly, I don’t think the Test Dashboard will pull data from SCORM tests. When I’ve tried, I get “NO DATA” as a result.

Our CSM suggested that we could possibly do some custom work with Docebo to get the data needed using the Query Builder. I’ve asked for more details on scope, cost and next steps. I’m not committed to going that route, myself, but it helps to have the details to see how badly the business wants that data.
