Currently, we have configured our ILTs to have an enrollment deadline of 2 days before the session. We also have the waitlist feature enabled which bumps up learners automatically in the event that someone unenrolls from the session. I have two questions as it relates to waitlists and enrollments. 

  1. Does the waitlist enroll users if someone unenrolls from a session after the enrollment deadline?
  2. If so, is there a way to control last minute enrollments into a session?

@niccole.liriano- Curious if you have found a solution for #1 by setting the  enrollment deadline? This is something our teams are struggling with when it comes to managing the waitlist

 


@Terry Gayle we use the enrollment deadline, and that seems to keep learners from enrolling into a session at the 11th hour. What we are still not entirely sure is what happens when a learner unenrolls from their scheduled session. Does the system automatically bump someone from the waitlist despite the enrollment deadline. I will say, our team of facilitators have not expressed any concerns thus far with last minute enrollment so using the enrollment deadline has been found beneficial.
