SCORM file not completing properly

I have a learner that has completed all but one piece of a course (which contains a few scorm files). She has completed all items in the syllabus, but one is not registering completion. She has tried clicking all the buttons (as have I logged inas her) and I see the conpletion screen (says Congratulations and has the Complete and close button which has always worked in the past, both in this system and our previous one.

My question is, how will the course be affected if I manually mark completion? Is there anything else I or she can try? I want it to be complete accurately, but I don’t mind manually updating it. My concern is how the completion looks in the system and on her syllabus.

Feel free to tell me I am overthinking this lol just want good records!

@armaan01 There’s no impact if you manually complete. Complete is complete.

May also depend on how your SCORM course is configured. If the final completion trigger did not fire, you might be missing data for that object and perhaps the final score. You can always manual enter the final course score if needed when you mark the course as completed.

Since this is one scorm file within a group of them for the course, is there a way to program the score for the one scorm file versus the entire course package? That was what I wasn’t able to figure out. I can markt he whole course complete, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to indicate scores or completion for individual items.

Are you asking about the overall course score? If yes, you can add the course score from the Enrolments tab

  • Locate the user
  • click the ellipsis (...) and select Edit Enrolment
  • You can change the status, completion date and add a score for the course

No I wanted to give the score for that scorm file, which is one piece of the course. I think there may be a larger issue though because I just re-enrolled and completed this and got the same issue the learner did this morning (despite another user who was assignd the course on the same day completing without issue).

possible...you can check the SCORM package on scormcloud.com to see if the tracking is working.

Looked into whether you can set a score for single SCORM object and do not see anyway to do that since the score is driven by the content. Although you can change the status of the object, there’s no option to set a score like you can on other object types.
