Search for content within a course

We cannot use the search bar to look for specific content within a course, but this would be VERY helpful in maintaining up to date information.

For example, we have some courses which address MSHA (the US Department of Labor’s Mine Safety & Health Administration) regulations.  If there is an update, I would like to be able to type ‘MSHA’ in the search bar to see all courses that contain any information about MSHA.

This will help our learners stay on top of current regulations.

I would suggest using tags on the training material to help with the search.  Tags ‘count’ more in search results (weighed more) in ranking what shows up in the results.

That might help in the short term.

And if you want to post this as an idea, don’t forget to follow the template - https://community.docebo.com/p/idea-submission-template

In addition to Jeanette’s suggestions, keep an eye on Docebo’s “neural search” feature coming out later this year: https://www.docebo.com/company/newsroom/docebo-unveils-ai-first-learning-platform-at-docebo-inspire-2025/

If you turn on AI Tagging, and AI skills, it should pick some of the content in the search bar.
