Self-disenrolment in ILT courses

We have some issues where learners are able to self-disenrol from a session, but then cannot disenrol from the course, if that’s what they want to do. The three dots menu is not visible. Is this functioning as intended?

Yes I noticed that too recently...was not aware that even when you have selected the option that should disallow the user from un-enrolling from the completed course, and the user is allowed to change sessions, the user can still un-enroll themselves from the completed session and re-enroll into another…

It seems like a bug since un-enrolling from a session also removes any data associated with that session.

I wasn't sure until I saw your post. I’ll be opening a ticket on this for sure.

Thank you both for bringing visibility to this!

A ticket has been logged….I re-tested a couple times to make sure the issue persists and used the Evaluation tracking method instead of manual and of the same results...users can freely move between completed sessions (when this is allowed on the course settings and even when you do not allow a user to un-enroll from the course once it’s completed)

Yes, I just noticed that as well and only because of this post so thank you for letting us all know and inquiring.

I guess I need to log a ticket as well.  Thank you all!!!

Thank you so much.  I honestly “hate” when they say that to me or this is the “correct behavior”🤣

Bad news folks….just heard back from support and the answers is…..

working as designed!!!!

Am very disappointed and will be escalating to out AM.

It gets worse, the actual KB article DOES say that when this is ON, the user tracking data WILL BE LOST. Not sure how Docebo can design a system setting that aloos the user to sabotage themselves and not even note it under the selection (like they do at some other spots) that if a user has already completed the ILT course and when we have this option turned ON, they can simply un-enrol or switch sessions and effectively delete their training history without anyone knowing..not the user, admin or super admin...Seems like a very obvious gap to me…

What are your thoughts on this?

I agree with you.  There is definitely something wrong with this type of behavior.  We currently cannot submit ideas so that’s out.  I’ll also bring to my CSM and AM’s attention.  Thanks for trying

Am thinking we need a bit more visibility on this...I have been using this for years and have run thousands of sessions since so I can’t imagine how much data we may have lost over that time...very disappointing...

Thanks lrnlab - very helpful as always, if not the answer we were hoping for.

Hello, I was wondering if this has been fixed or if this is still the same?
