I am interested in using a payment installment option for a pricier course. It does not appear that Docebo has any direct integration with any of these services such as Klarna or Afterpay… however, Stripe does. Has anyone had success using one of these services integrated with Stripe and with Stripe integrated with Docebo or at least know if it is possible?

I’m so glad you asked as I’m trying to figure this out now too… did you end up figuring this out?

My thought was to have folks reach out to us when they need to set up a payment plan and then sending them a stripe checkout link and then manually adding the course to their account…

But I’m hopeful once buy now pay later is attached it would just be an option on Docebo…

so *bump* hopefully someone else has answers…

I have not figured out a way to do this and have landed on the same temporary solution as you.

With the rise in adoption of buy now/pay later, I hope that Docebo will consider adding this as a payment option.

Extremely interested in this functionality - has this since progressed?

Thanks!

Not that I’m aware! @Docebo any chance this will ever get on your blueprint?

Appreciate the reply @sfrost. Does the PayPal integration support pay in 3 as an alternative?

@AprilH I’m unsure how Stripes payment installment capabilities function, but based on my experience with and knowledge of Docebo’s Stripe integration options, I imagine if Stripe can facilitate payment installments via a third party, that would still work well with the Docebo > Stripe integration. Docebo sends the learner to Stripe upon checkout to complete the transaction, then all that’s needed for the learner to be enrolled in the course in Docebo post-purchase is a sort of “handshake” from Stripe confirming that the transaction has been completed on the Stripe side. In theory, Docebo shouldn’t care whether or not the full payment has been made.

This is all speculation though. Would be very interested to hear your findings! We’ve leveraged a ‘bootstrapped’ version of the Wire Transfer payment method in Docebo in the past to support bill by invoice, but it created headaches for us so we’re eliminating it and only support CC purchases via Stripe in the future. We use the Docebo > Stripe SCA integration
