Good afternoon everyone.

On August 22, we recorded a change in how the display name is being sent along from our platform when we use the Notification app. We checked with our IT folk and confirmed that their was no adjustment on their end. I know I should put in a ticket - but I wanted to check in with the community.

It is not a huge story, but for folks that are sensitive and careful with email, they would suggest that it looks “spoof-y”. This is true across all of our notifications….

Toggle cased From (Name) = The Display Name for an email address

Have you run into something similar?

We noticed something similar and reported it last week. It was the email addresses that all went to lowercase. Ticket entered and fix deployed and now all good. Not exactly sure what happened, but it’s fixed now.  :-)

So, log your ticket and wait for the magic to happen… :p 


@dklinger Can you confirm that this behavior is still occurring today? I ask because a fix went out this morning that should have resolved this behavior. If it is still occurring, please open a ticket with our support team.
