Use API to batch remove catalog visibility?

Is it possible to use the API explorer to remove visibility from catalogs?

We have used API explorer to add visibility to catalogs, but we must now remove a group’s visibility from many catalogs.

For example, “Branch A” users can see catalogs 1 through 100. We now want catalogs 1 through 100 to NOT be visible to Branch A. In other words, we would unassign visibility of catalogs 1 through 100 from Branch A.

Is this possible with the API?
