User Totals by Year

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know of a way to isolate how many users accessed our system in 2024 if I ran that today?  Anyone who accessed in 2024 and also 2025, their last access date would show 2025.  Just curious if there is a way to filter to say “show me users who accessed the system in 2024” from the User Management interface.  And taking that to the next level, I’d also like to get that number by branch...so total 2024 users, and then total 2024 users who accessed via a specific branch.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Hello, the usage data history available from within the usage dashboard would provide data on users who have accessed the system (active users). You would need to download each of the monthly reports for the timespan(s) you wanted, consolidate into one spreadsheet, then use either filters or pivot tables to get to the stats you want. I realize it’s some manual work but that would get you the data you are after. Those exports also include the branch for the user to allow for filtering.

Agree that is the best way. Note that only super admins can access this dashboard

@mstrom - thank you very much!  I appreciate the quick response.  I do think this report will get me what I’m looking for so I appreciate your response.  Just downloaded a report and I see each user only once (which is great).  Do you know what event is logged for each user - is it their first activity of the period?  I can’t really tell.  Thank you!

@mdarem72 yes, basically it is any interaction with training materials or other assets. Simply logging in then logging out does not trigger it as an active user. See this for more specifics about active users.
