I know that ‘Suspended’ at course level essentially locks the user from the course, but what impacts are there if the SESSION enrollment status is ‘Suspended’?  I have looked at all of the knowledge articles but can only find details for the course level status, not session level.

Just tried it and it does pretty much the same as with the course level status. You get this warming and if if you try to enrol while with a suspended status, you are blocked from doing that as well.

Not the best warnings.

@lrnlab I have an admin that ‘suspended’ a user at session level and then enrolled them in a different session same course.  My concern is that the user will not be able to access/join on session date.  I did proxy as user and it looks as if they can access the course and see the new session they are enrolled in, so appears all is well but wanted to get confirmation in documentation, which I am not finding specifically as it relates to session level.

So it is safe to say that a suspended status at either course or session level will block the user from accessing the course, BUT if admin enrolls user into a different session, this overrides the ‘suspended’ status impacts from first session.  Correct?

yes, I believe that’s how it works; admins can override most things, especially the super admin.
