I'm trying to find out how a learner was assigned courses.  Is there a way to see who enrolled a user in a course?

@wreinwald Check the Audit Log … on the Admin menu.

For the Audit app, It helps if you have the user ID. You can add it to the advanced filter in the Target field. This should help narrow your search + note that you can only see 90 days at a time but you can go back in time as fast as needed; just change the start/end dates to be longer than 90 days apart.
