Why is the course showing without any catalogs?

When a course is published (internal catalog visibility only), but is not in any catalogs why does it still show up in the search on the front end? Shouldn’t it not show up at all as despite being published, no one has access to see it?

Hi @karilynnrussell may depend on who’s testing it...make sure to use a test ID that does not have your credentials...just a basic user who you would expect not to see the course in question. If it does still appear, also check whether the course may also be in a learning plan that is in a catalogue as that may be the case as well.
