Question

Archive certifications

Currently, we have annual certifications in place. We want to move away from certifications and instead move to a monthly rollout of our mandatory courses after onboarding.

Most importantly, we do not want to lose historic results, and we would like the monthly rollout to be automated. Previously, we needed to push enrolments through enrolment rules—can this now also be automated? Any advice on what steps we should be taking?

Are you saying you do not want to archive any records? If yes, you will need to create unique courses for each month’s roll out. You can use Groups to capture those that have completed the previous month’s course and then use the enrolment rules with that group to push out the next course. Only thing this cannot be timed so it would push the next course out immediately after the first is completed. Only way to delay that would be to manually engage the enrolment rule each month.

If you place them all in a LP, you could use the prerequisites and delay access options but again this is not set on calder date. It will be based on when the user completed the previous course and apply a delay based on the settings in the LP.
