Let’s say you sell courses using the Docebo eCommerce module and want to improve the receipt.  The stock receipt that’s shown to the purchaser, one-time, doesn’t provide a lot of information other than your company logo and the actual transaction information.  If you want to add a header and footer, here’s a way using nothing more than CSS:

By the way, the receipt is available anytime to SuperAdmins and the individual user (but not Power Users) using this link structure:  

https://YOURSITEADDRESS/ecommerce/cart/receipt/TRANSACTION_ID

You may find it helpful to use automation to write this link into a User Additional Field for later reference by the customer.

Just curious as not a big user of the e-commerce stuff, but this sounds like you are showing on the desktop website once? That URL format could be useful for an email I would think, but wondering if this kind of CSS change which would not be available on mobile app and seems like a natural place for disclaimers which would be important to show? Is this not available for use on mobile app anyways so no concern or it would be important to keep in mind what type of content you are slipping in this way.

The receipt is normally only shown to the purchaser once.  However, it exists forever in the system if you know what URL to call.

We do very little with mobile today.  Course purchasing is nearly always from a desktop/laptop, and only some training content lends itself to mobile.  Most of our training is done in-person. 

We do need to look at tablets in the not too far distant future, but we’re not there yet.

 


@elamast understood, I guess just more of a concern when posted for others to use without realizing, just was curious if true or not, seems to be so something groups who are using and using the css trick should keep in mind for sure as they may not be shown the text in the header/footer.
