Hi all, we have a numbe of VILT courses available in our course catalogues, but are very frustrated because the Enroll Now button only enrolls the learner in the course, not the session! We frequently record the trainings and post them back on the course, but users who happen to come along afterwards and attempt to enroll to watch the recording are met with an (incorrect) error message about ‘no session exists’. Can anyone suggest a way around this issue please?

+10If the user was never enrolled in the session, they cannot access the recording. Your admin would need to enrol them into a past session and they will have access to the recoding after that.
While I agree that it is a little frustrating, it does make sense from one perpective where you might not want users who never attended the session to be able to watch a recording that may not be suitable for them or may have some confidential or proprietary information contained therein.
I think I heard that mat be a plan to allow admins to tag a recorded session as being “viewable” without the user being enrolled but please dont quote me on this. It may be something that is coming in a future release.
