Ideas to leverage Docebo to capture in-person training records?

Our firm is in the process of moving some of our new hire trainings from something that is primarily online within our LMS, to something that is primarily in-person. One concern we have about this transition is training records and reporting. We would like to find a way to use Docebo to capture some sort of official training record. I wanted to put it out to the community to see if anyone had a similar use case and what their strategy was to solve for this. Is this a good use case for ILT courses? Or is there some configuration of a regular course (i.e. some sort of test that has to be graded by an instructor) that could be useful here? I would be appreciative of any input.

I believe an ILT, or an assignment, or an observation checklist, or an elearning module all have a place in an onboarding program.

There’s a lot of questions about your specific case you need to answer to determine a path.

Consider how you want to report, do the learners need to engage to enroll in the in person training, do you have other in person training and it’s just “easier” to keep it consistent even if the learner never touches the LMS for it……. you get the idea.

I would reach out to your CSM and talk through your scenarios for some specific guidance.
